This time it was the calm after the Storm. After blowing up at the King for cracking his Kings, the Storm settled down at the final table where he took out II-Pod to earn his 3rd 4SPT win.

"I can't wait to knock you both out"

I dared to utter these words in true drunken tough fashion to the two remaining Complex MoFos Pibb and Dogs. For some reason I enjoy sitting at the table with Complex Crewers than anyone else (yes Slim and/or Cooler even you donkeys). I feel more at ease talking trash to these folks and it being understood as jest than anyone else on tour (Note: the lack of degenerates is because I don't joke with them about such things as they wouldn't find it funny). Also I never talk trash to the first lady as that would be highly unproper, ahem, I hope G is listening. Anyway to the matter at hand, another gem I dared to utter was,
"If you knock me out I guarantee you are the toughest guy in town this week." 

This line I dared to utter to that notorious unshaven tough guy Dog's Playing Poker. Not only have I never seen him clean shaven but he's so serious at the table that his toughness can't be questioned.

Anyway's, Dogs if you ever call one of my all-ins with an open-ender and catch again I will fight you at the earliest opportunity. Unshaven or not...but let's face it you'll be unshaven...and that's TOUGH AS HELL.

Meanwhile in the stationary Hall of Tough Guys...

Most the, Complex Slim(2x or in Goodfellas two times), and "The King Tough Guy" Pibbulicious were trying to come up with the next TGT for the tour.

After absolutely no input from the others I have made my decision(after pontificating. HA!) I mean, lets face it, it is The Storms TGT of the week after all.

This player falls under the "Slim" silent but deadly category. A player that never flaunts his toughness or williness to gamble. He is still tough as hell, a player that you always have to pay attention too. After weeks of 23rd place finishes he's finally back.

On top of that he dropped my favorite quote of the year so far...

"i've been sipping on that haterade along with you G!!!"

Storm's T.G.T. of the Week

I regret to inform all of you that there will not be a new TGT to be added to the Hall of Tough Guys this week. Since I was chastised last night by Slim, among others, for the lateness of my decrees I have decided to allow Slim an extra week of toughness. (Truly a rare honor but one well earned with the thrashing dispensed by Slim at the inaugural Kiowa cash game) In the future TGT's will be posted earlier in the week to allow all you NON-tough guys to criticize and pontificate on what truly makes one tough and whether or not I captured that inherent toughness in said tough guy.

On a side note a warning to that person who may, and I stress may, knock me out tonight. I have been inspired by Rome to come up with a fitting punishment for he/her. You will immediately have your hands cut off and nailed to the first homes front door as a warning to all those who may deem themselves worthy enough to dispense with this tough guy. Wouldn't it be ironic if the fist's fists ended up on the front door? Lets try to not let it happen.

Storm's T.G.T of the Week

I can't have a Toughest Guy In Town every week. Otherwise I would quickly run out of Tough MoFos to put in the column. Rest assured though Cooler, it's been decided that you would have to do something REALLY tough to have a chance.

The Fist would have a good shot although he knocked me out last week.  The bastard.  So he's out. 

But I'm in a giving mood so the Tough Son of a Bitch for the week is the man who did two things this past week that puts him over the top in our small, yet still growing, poker community. He has a bunch of wins, the bastard, a bunch of nicknames, but more than this he brought back one of my favorite 4SPT reads, the recap. Also, he showed up in public with a police officer 'stache and imitated interviews with his thumb knowing deep down that he would never remember one word.

Two VERY TOUGH actions that put him over the top to be reigning T.G.T. for now.  Plus being a member of the WSD doesn't hurt.
