Fall Season Game 4 Recap

Newcomer Carmel came out swinging on Thursday night and she landed a devastating 1-2 punch that sent Matt ‘Tennessee’ Williams out of the tournament. In only the second hand dealt of the night, Tennessee decided to look up this new player and see what she was made of when he called her $300 pre-flop raise. Carmel was the first to act after the flop hit 665 and she led out with a bet. Tennessee then re-raised and in turn Carmel declared All-In. Before she could even finish her statement, Tennessee had all of his chips in the pot. To the amazement of everyone at the table Matt flipped over an A5 giving him 6’s and 5’s. Carmel then flipped over QQ and asked “Ace 5? I raised $300 pre-flop, what did you think I had?” The last two cards off were rags and Carmel’s Q’s and 6’s were enough for her to double up and send Tennessee out in one of the earliest exits seen on the Tour...
