W/SP Game 1 Results
Last night's final table showdown featured 32 wins among the final four players, two of those wins could be attributed to the eventual winner, Jamie, the other 30 belonged to fourth place finisher - Sir Pick (10), third place finisher - Richie Rich (14), and second place finisher King Richard (6). Those three were anything but hot yet they were still dropped by Jamie who captured his third 4SPT win.
Can the King really, I mean really win a third season in a row? I know it's early but he has some serious momentum right now.
Thanks to everyone for being so tidy last night. Wasn't that hard was it?

Very nice win Jamie... and a nice evening of poker... even more of a kick after the layoff... thanks to the First Couple who not only play tough poker while they run a tight tournament, but are now taking on the formidable task of house-training the various deviants and reprobates who play on 4th Street... most Peace Corps missions are easier... they just might get you guys to trade in your abundant beer bottles for small cups of tea... if that happens, my chances of 3 season wins in a row drop substantially...

I believe that's the first time the word "reprobates" has appeared on this site. And it's about time!
Nice win, Jamie. You were on a roll while I was still around... obviously you carried it through.
To no name poster: cream isn't the only thing that rises to the top. Ever worked in a corporation? Scum, congealed/curdled fat, garbage... all of it rises to the top.
Happy New Year, everybody. Great playing again.

Thank you First Couple for hosting. I blame my very early and donkish exit on the fan that was on full blast, thus making me raise like the wind with marginal hands, causing me to fly away like the kite runner. Sorry table two for displaying such poor poker. I guess I was happy to exit early to avoid the draft. "Son, the draft was over twenty years ago." "There was one?" Can someone name this movie?

Congrats Big-timer. Always a pleasure to see Snoop and the ladies doing their thing. Must have felt extra good to take down that final table since you didn't go out and have to hear Richie giggle and then call you a donkey. I hope you personally knocked out the final 3, they wouldn't have appreciated the win as much as you anyway.
Congrats.

Congrats Jamie!
It looks like slow playing and too much bluffing finally payed off!
Whoever said definitely not a donkey final table has got to be kidding. From the looks of the list it looks like there was atleast 7 donkies sitting there at the final table.

Are you kidding me, Storm? Of course I still called him a donkey!
Congats on the win. Easily the best winning pic. Hee haw!

thank you all for your compliments (backhanded and otherwise). it was indeed a miracle to not bluff away a possible victory. knocking RR out was certainly glorious, doing it on the river making it that much better. winning the first one one of the season is a nice way to sit atop the season leaderboard. but i now of course will have no problem being dead money this thursday, come one come all!
