Silky deserves a pat on the back for his comeback, he was down to about $700 in chips before picking my pocket before the break and going on a run to finish in the money.

Mad Dog: I guess you should dedicate the win to your great Aunt. She'd be proud.

F'IDIOT...
That should be my nickname...or just simply douchebag...
The car ride home is tough enough when you get sucked out, but what I did last night doesn't even qualify as a mistake it was so bad.
I'm on the big blind with the penultimate chip stack at the table...one call from Silky who had me well outstacked. My 57 off yields a straight draw after the flop came 46T. I checked thinking I'd get a check having put Silky on overs...he bets 1500...then all of my usual rules pass through my brain.
On the bubble - Fold
He will call your all in with his stack - Fold
Outside straight is at best 5 to 1 if he has overs - FOLD!!!
I even alluded to what I was holding which is what I do just before I FOLD...so just fold you F'idiot...yes, just fold...
But then...
Then that little demon in my head remembered many of the crazy hands won earlier in the night (pocket 10's beating pocket K's with a runner, runner, runner, runner flush, for example)...and my stupid hands reached for my chips and my stupid piehole uttered the words "all in" and while Silky being on overs was the correct call, I missed my str8 and he won with a 9 high.
It was then that I saw two players at the other table had less chips than I did when I donked out; adding insult to injury.
Which brings me back to the car ride home...
If you would have been next to me at a light, you would have thought I just got caught cheating on my girlfriend...the worst part of all was realizing that I will most likely be on the waitlist again next week as it will probably be a 3 table match. So I have to carry this bad play around with me for a while...
Okay, I'm done...Congrats Mad Dog...I really thought Dogs Playing was going to take it down after winning that great 4 pot hand.
Thanks Will...always a great host...and of course much love to J & J...
Peace

Clayton: don't feel so bad. I donked off 2,600 in chips in a classic "I think I'm beat,"... um... "I'm all in" move that left me questioning my sanity for an hour afterwards.
I think your move wasn't so bad, actually -- just based on the reading. So you didn't hit your str8... happens. You could've doubled up and been back in the running too.

"questioning my sanity" - very well said..it lasted more than an hour though...probably 2 1/2...until Jack put me to sleep...

Storm: apparently, i don't remember much once it got down to 4. Not only did i donk off chips, but my winnings as well. i literally played one hand and lost $40...no more valiums and alkohol for me!!!
i didn't deserve to be at the final four anyways!!!!

For the record "It's a Mad, Mad Dog Eats Dog's World" may be one of my favorite headlines. Clever.
Dogs, I thought you were going to take it down!

"I can't wait to knock you both out"
I dared to utter these words in true drunken tough fashion to the two remaining Complex MoFos Pibb and Dogs. For some reason I enjoy sitting at the table with Complex Crewers than anyone else (yes Slim and/or Cooler even you donkeys). I feel more at ease talking trash to these folks and it being understood as jest than anyone else on tour (Note: the lack of degenerates is because I don't joke with them about such things as they wouldn't find it funny). Also I never talk trash to the first lady as that would be highly unproper, ahem, I hope G is listening. Anyway to the matter at hand, another gem I dared to utter was,
"If you knock me out I guarantee you are the toughest guy in town this week."
This line I dared to utter to that notorious unshaven tough guy Dog's Playing Poker. Not only have I never seen him clean shaven but he's so serious at the table that his toughness can't be questioned.
Anyway's, Dogs if you ever call one of my all-ins with an open-ender and catch again I will fight you at the earliest opportunity. Unshaven or not...but let's face it you'll be unshaven...and that's TOUGH AS HELL.
Latrones.

KK doesn't always hold up for Silky. Even though I have my win from the case king. I took 3rd Thurs. because Mad Dog hit a staright flush on the turn to beat my pocket Kings. Congrats Mad Dog, I love playing poker with you...really love it.
