WS III Game 11 Results
From 3-way all-in, to a 3-outter on the turn, followed by a 1-outter on the river, to 4th Street getting 1 new winner. Last night's ending was exciting to say the least. In the almost 3 years we've been running the Tour I haven't seen a game end like this before.
Eastwood sitting 3rd in chips moved all-in preflop, behind him sitting second in chips was the Machine who quickly made the call. Jeff Not Jeff looks around and says "Man, wouldn't it be nice to look down at a K and a K?" he looked at his cards, lit up like a Christmas tree and moved all-in. The Machine then called off the remainder of his own chips. So now we have 3 man action, much to the delight of Shock G.
Eastwood - QT
Machine - AK
Jeff Not Jeff - KK
Important to note that the B.B.D. is dealing this hand. The flop comes down 5 5 7. Not the exciting part. The turn brings one of the three Aces remaining in the deck. Eastwood is drawing dead, Jeff Not Jeff is devastated and Machine is ready to scoop the chips. Silky will need the last King in the deck to take down his first 4SPT win. And if I'm telling this story then you know what happens next. The river brings...
The Case King.

I can't wait for the player profile! Congrats Silky.

Storm,
He lost them, as I did, in a series of really bad Allin calls with cards that might as well have been blank.
Congrats on the win, Jeff.

i'm still recovering from that hand. although i donked off my chips earlier to JNJ i managed to pick up cards and work my way up to a reasonable chip stack. But for all of that work and then go out on such a hand....i'm having flashbacks to the MOSTS'Recap...i was da bomb....for literally a second...congrats JNF.

um, richie, what's going on dude?
-Caroline, what gives? calling down my boy with 77 on a board of A K 9 9? Unaccept. Don't know what set you claim, but consider yourself warned....
-Jeff not Jeff? Is Silky Smooth Nuts too inappropriate? Congratulations to Balls for winning his first. He's the nuts in my oatmeal. I'm gay.
-Hey Degenerates, does my voicemail say "hi, now leave an expletive-laden monologue about how you got busted at 4SPT"? No, it says, "hi youve reached mcgilla, now leave a mcutty." Absoluutely Fantastik.

Congrats on the win Silky!

Thanks everyone!! Playing poker with you guys has been a blast.
I'd like to say a special 'thank you' to Shock G for so kindly giving me all his chips thoughout the night.
Also, thank you to Jeff and Jen for hosting a great game.

Eliot, I'll spare you the tough (not bad) beat story and just say that I suck at cards.
Well done JNJ. I liked the original nickname: Deuce. Haha. Maybe sometimes it's Deucy? Whoa... is he related to Acey?

Also, if you tools still didn't believe me when I told you Jeff was a BBD, then now you know!
I mean, Deuce got the money in good, but it was still a 9.2 on the sickness scale. Jun's another BBD. They're banned from dealing at any of my final tables.

Nice win. Man, and how's this for a backhanded compliment, you sure were getting the cards last night. Quads, boats, blah blah blah.
But you played tight and picked your moments. Nicely done (or at least what little I saw).

Still cant shake that K6 river flush against my AK but it was your night, at least you put my chips to good use. Congrats Silky JnJ, nice to see another first time winner.

BBD= Bel Biv Devoe?

G, 4th place... I told you that you would donk off those chips
Posted by: Factor | Friday, February 23, 2007 at 13:53
Indeed. Don't think I went in with the best hand the entire final table. Hell, I would've been out in 6th if those Quad Queens didn't happen! I consider myself lucky to get 4th! Every single person at that table got there's in with the best against me. Just outright ugliness.
Big time "W" Silk. I will have my vengeance. Oh yes, I WILL have my vengeance!!
By the way....LOVIN the 3-man action.

Singing the newbie blues...
First Lady & Slim - When I didn't make yesterday's cut, I figured it was because all the regulars out ranked me...I did send a reply 20 mins after you sent me a mail. But to my dismay, I see that two people who were listed after me on the wait list were granted seats at the game. After spending the last few weeks on the waitlist, I have come to the conclusion that the suckout you took from me at my first game is still with you. I need not explain that I am only one degree of seperation from the Founding Fathers (and mother) and that I have added a certain amount of class to the tour (...) So I just need a question answered...are you still tilting from my 73s or are you just afraid of being beaten by me again?
Respectfully yours...

certain amount of class? same amount that's in this post?
check some facts, personally ask me the question, but don't call me out in the comments.

here we go...im so excited to see the direction this thread takes...haha
by the way, i think the JNJ logo makes me happier than even my own.
Posted by: jamie | Friday, February 23, 2007 at 15:46
oh yeah, at least now you can just assume that you won't be getting emails, so you won't have to worry about responding promptly to get a seat in the game :)

I guess sarcasm doesn't read well...

...oh and btw, it was C-mint who told me to post my comment on this page when I told him I was going to send it to your personal mail...

Meanwhile in the stationary Hall of Tough Guys...
Most the, Complex Slim(2x or in Goodgellas two times), and "The King Tough Guy" Pibbulicious were trying to come up with the next TGT for the tour.
After absolutely no input from the others I have made my decision(after pontificating. HA!) I mean, lets face it, it is The Storms TGT of the week after all.
This player falls under the "Slim" silent but deadly category. A player that never flaunts his toughness or williness to gamble. He is still tough as hell, a player that you always have to pay attention too. After weeks of 23rd place finishes he's finally back.
On top of that he dropped my favorite quote of the year so far...
"i've been sipping on that haterade along with you G!!!"
Great work Machine...Welcome to the Hall~~~
