FS III Game 10 Results
It took us 2 hours to get from 24 to 8 players and then 3 hours to go from 8 to 1. Congratulations to Richie Rich for enduring the marathon of a Final Table where he battled back to take down the Mad Dog.
For those counting at home this is his 11th win. So sick.

Even though he didn't win, I'm impressed with Mad Dog's finish. When he arrived at the game, he kept saying, "I'm taking it down tonight," and he nearly did. Pretty strong backing up of his boasts. Good job, Rich. You need no congratulations... you'll win with or without everyone's support.

Only 8th Jun? What happened? Did you accidentally get your chips in with the best hand (which is certain death)? Or did you finally fall asleep and get blinded away?

He got them in with far too many outs. 18 I believe it was, about 16 too many for Jun.

I think too many outs is right...last time I had over 16 outs on the turn, I lost as well. I can't win these goddamn things.
Hahahahah...Rashard Lewis in 3rd...that is so random. But you're right, Marco...he is underrated.

Shouldn't that Richie Rich logo be black by now?

Thanks to Will Call for all the shuffling work. Thanks to Jun and Jeff for not dealing since they're both bad beat dealers.
Curses on The Pick for the dealing all those bad beat chops for the Mad Dog. And curses on you, Mad Dog, for sucking out on me 4 times when I was a 2.5:1 favorite or better. So sick...
And Drud, he says that every week he plays. Hardly an oracle. Plus, if you saw how he got there, it was pretty disgusting. He's a bigger suckout donkey than The Pick!
Marco, you're still the best player on the tour. With all those chips early on, I kept thinking to myself, "wow, this is what it's like to be Marco."
I heart you, Storm.
Jenn, no, he's been using sun screen. His outfit should be better color coordinated, though. I'd be matching WAY better than that and with colors that complimented my skin tone. Yea, you know that's true...
Pick, how did you not 1 out me with 55? Jeff is obviously better than you are.
Bookie, as promised, you're freerolling next week.
Thanks for the props and see ya'll Saturday!

On the brink of 4th St. Poker Tour glory, the door was opened wide for me. In my mind/soul, I actually walked through the door. But there stood the poker God, and he looked me in the eye and said, "Richie will not be able to handle a two-time back-to-back champion. I must let him win and get his three outer."
"But, but....",I said, interrupted quickly by the Poker God, now firm in his tone. "He is insecure, let him have is insane/sick/stupid amount of glory."
I, then in frustration exclaimed,"but he is such a punk, he is so freaking lucky!!"
And with a long pause the all knowing, all powerful poker God spoke comfortingly, "At least you are ahead of Gerrit and Marco. "I shrugged, "You're right. It will be okay."

Good job Richie. McGillaout.

Congrats, Rich. From what it sounds like, you actually had luck on your side this time... you're one of the handful of players who don't need as much luck to with these tournaments. I'm glad to see that my chips helped Jun get to the final table at least. Also glad to see that Shock G didn't make it there.

JC, your obsession with richie (new nickname: 'broctune') is kind of like the antithesis of my obsession with Stevie Smith. you despise and are jealous of 'broctune', whereas i admire and revel in the glory of Stevie Smith.

Ivan, you're kidding right?

Ok, the only thing I meant was the congrats to Rich. I like Garrett, and think there are plenty of good players at the 4SPT. The level of play is good enough, that while I seem to have no problem taking down my home games and getting pretty far at some casino tournaments, final table appearances are rare for me on Thursday nights. Hopefully the planets will align once more someday, and I'll get that elusive 2nd win before Rich gets his 15th. By the way, sorry I missed the party on Saturday. Hope it was a doosy.

Ivan, I am SHOCKED!!
How DARE you mockingly mock me, since you KNOW I can outmock you anyday of the mockin' week! I'm still waiting for those beers by the way, you English soccer jersey wearin, no card-playin for an hour, Newcastle swillin', wait lister!
Oh yeah, Rich, way to go. Unlike Ivan here, I'm not afraid to tell you I hate you to your face. Fortunately for you, you will never be hated by me nearly as much as Johnny, Max or Eliot. Although, I assume that's a given.
E, I love that SNL "broctune" skit. I wonder if anyone else here got that reference, but it was indeed appreciated on this side! You still suck, though. Don't forget that.

If it was from SNL post-1995 I have no idea what the reference was.

Eliot knows what I'm talkin bout. He's a Mr. Belvedere fan - just like me!!

As Phil Hartman would say, "To tear the flesh, to wear the flesh." Anyone who gets that reference is a true Broctune fan.
