Well done, Eliot. Sorry I didn't put up much of a fight heads-up. I can't beat you! You're just too good. Behind Marco, you're the next best player on the tour. Congrats on number seven!

Was this that "new style" you were talking about, E?
I need lessons in the ways of The Most. You have any DVDs or books on tape for sale?

Congrats on #7 Mostophocles. Take it easy on the first lady though. Very Westside Degenerate heavy at the end of the final table which is always a great thing.
You would need a book on tape G, God forbid you actually have to read something.

I like to call the new style "Strong Pregame Cadillac Margaritas."
Gerrit, I told you 3rd was the new 14th.

One of the strongest final fours we've seen in a long time.
Posted by: Slim | Friday, October 13, 2006 at 14:43
and by strongest I mean full of luckboxes.

Biggie ups to Dr Donk It Like It's Hot and Mad Dog. I specifically asked that your $20 be kept seperate so I could get paid with those. They look really good in my pocket. Muchas gracias.
Slim, Johnny Cakes isn't a luckbox, he's a donkey.

Well done E. Clearly while I'm drinking enough to play a solid game I'm not drinking enough to crack the money.

Pick is just bored, that's all. If he actually cared about cards right now, he'd be smack dab in the middle of the pack with the rest of us also-rans. It's been proven time and time again. He won't even talk about his final table cameo tomorrow, because if he does, he'll instantly start caring again - thus, he'll doom himself to no points the rest of the year. You heard it here.
And I subscribe to Eliot's Strong Pregame Cadillac Margarita philosophy already, and it hasn't helped my game for shit! Obviously works for you, though, Al. I think 3rd is pretty much your ceiling, so be happy with that!! Ha!
Ivan, you STILL owe me beers.
Jeopardy, I hate you.

so did we decide not to call "jeff not slim" by his new nickname of "Deuce?"
I think it has potential.
Posted by: jamie | Friday, October 13, 2006 at 16:27
agreed. Much potential. If only for the "I just dropped the deuce" comments.

thank you all. richie, you're right, you can't beat me. also, we have to go with 'The Deuce' for our friend Jeff(b). I thought this was already settled.
