Now maybe you'll actually say acknowledge my presence or even say hello to me again at the games, Storm. The win was just a matter of time, but I'm sure that's easier to feel right now.

Congratulations Storm on a well deserved top finish.

You have always been the Mickelson of the tour, Brent. Now it's time to tear off like 3 of the next five...congrats you dirty little bastard.

Well, THIS just out and out sucks!!!
What other storylines do we really have to live for on 4th Street now?!?! This was the big one - and now it's ruined!! No more harrassing Brent at home games. No more making fun of him when he blows up and leaves the room. No more nicknaming of other 4th Street players due to Brent's outbursts. And no more catching him sneaking out of porn shops during pregame warmups.
All that is now history.
And now all we have is his protege, The Fist, to snicker at behind his back.
This is a sad day. A very, VERY sad day.....

congrats Brent!

Congratulations, Storm, on a well deserved and yet long overdue win. If you ask me, the win was largely a result of the no headphones at the table policy. I'm sorry you don't like the music at the Complex - but you just might have to deal with it if you ever want to repeat.

PS - I get a little teary-eyed every time I see the "wow" part at the end of the video clip. Glad I was there to turn the winning card.

Sad to have missed the history live, but nice to see the video! Brent..congrats, I knew it was your night. Way to take it down.
G - enjoy the snickering while it lasts, wont be too long.

Storm knows if I was dealing that river the 5 definitely would've hit.
Posted by: Slim | Friday, June 23, 2006 at 10:57
Thank you one and all for the kind words. Feels good to have the 800 pound gorilla off my back, that gorilla smells pretty bad by the way. Slim, there is no question that the river would have been a five if you were dealing. But that hand like a lot of others last night just worked out. Crazy stuff. For the record I will still be storming out of peoples residences spewing f-bombs with other colorful words thrown in in the future, never fear.
First Lady and Slim I can't thank you guys enough for doing what you do week in and week out. Good times!

Congrats on the win, Storm... Sorry to disappoint you, but now you're in the same club as me for number of wins at the 4SPT.
Posted by: Ivan | Friday, June 23, 2006 at 11:22
I would say the Storm is in a different class. 7 times heads. Not many people can say that.
Posted by: Slim | Friday, June 23, 2006 at 11:26
There's no disappointment in winning. You want disappointment try finishing second six times before finally winning.

I can't wait to read the player profile.

Storm you look way better in this video than you did in the one on Dateline, I think you were just as nervous though.

It is about time, Congrats. What did I say.
Posted by: Max | Friday, June 23, 2006 at 20:59
It's about damn time! Nice job, buddy. Your game paired with some new found confidence after this win will surely have you "storming" through the competition.
