Go check out the vault. Notice anything? How about the abundance of pictures of the Too Beaucoup Crew (TBC). The summer season has been dominated by the TBC. Richie Rich has won 3 times, Maneater twice, and the Mad Dog once. Never have we seen such destruction by a crew in a season and there are still three games left to play. The Shootout can't come fast enough.
So the question remains... where have all the good Crews gone?
Too Beacoup Crew (TBC) - We know their story by now. Led by Richie Rich and his 3 wins, they have taken the Summer Season by storm. Every week is another recap detailing how one of the TBC members decimated the field. This week was no different as the Maneater, who was the last to arrive but also the last to stay, collected her second win of the summer. And let's not forget that even though Jun has yet to take one down this season, he does have 2 wins under his belt, including having the distinction of winning in his first game on the Tour.
The Westside Degenerates (WSD) - The "other" crew of the summer season. Max "The Factor" introduced us to the WSD but it was Mr. Pick who brought them into the spotlight. With his three wins, including the first ever back-to-back, Mr. Pick is the unequivicol leader of this band of degenerates that sports other top players such as Brent "The Storm," Chris "Eastwood," Eliot "Radish Wallace," and the aforementioned Factor. The WSD tried to stake their claim to the summer season by first sending the Storm to the top of the standings and then by winning games 6 and 7 thus putting an end to the TBC 3-game win streak. However, the WSD weren't able to stay in control as Richie made sure his crew stayed on top by sparking yet another 3-game streak that the TBC are enjoying right now.
The GIK - Consisting of Joe "Wou-Tang:Silent Assasin," Jeopardy, and at one time the Big Boss Man. The GIK crew saw their glory in the first game of the season when Wou-Tang took a win back to the GIK. He's since added another 2nd place finish to his stats but that hasn't been enough to keep this crew on top.
The Dirtbag Crew (DBC) - It used to be we could count on the DBC to snatch up 2-3 wins per season. The Sandman carried most of the load for this crew but he has strong support in Grimace and Prefontaine. Summer season has not been kind to the DBC, while most will look to Prefontaine's strong finishes of late and say it's business as usual, others will point to the fact that you got to be in it to win it. Lack of games played could be the factor here as both Vaughn and Evan have missed most of the games this summer. But anytime the Sandmen show up you know they'll be a force to be reckoned with.
The Playa Vista Playas (PVP) - More of a crew by proxy than by association, the PVP consists of King Richard, 2-Trick, and High Noon. Another crew that has seen better days, such as when King Richard ruled the points lead for almost two straight seasons, and High Noon was never far behind. But this season has seen them rack up a paltry 18 points combined. That's just not going to get it down, considering that the TBC has two players surpassing that individually.
The Oak Street Boys (OSB) - As big of a surprise it is that the TBC are so in control of the summer season, it may be even a bigger surprise that the Oak Street Boys are tanking so bad. Slew boasts a few top 5 finishes and Dino has a 4th, but that's not the results we usually see out of this crew. We are used to looking up at that leaderboard and seeing both Slew and Dino up there. It must be something to do with the warm weather as they both finished 1st and 2nd in the winter season but are struggling mightly in the summer months. As for the rest of their crew, they haven't been around much. Must be the lack of leadership. Although they did just accept a new member last week when Justin "The Bookie" accepted Dino's offer to board the sinking ship that is the Oak Street Boys.
The Complex - If the Oak Street Boys are a sinking ship then the Complex Crew is the anchor sitting on the bottom of the ocean. While I am grinding out final tables along with the First Lady, the rest of the Complex Crew have disappeared. Literally and figuratively. We've had three members move which is unfortunate but not as unfortunate as to what has happened to those that are still here. Dog's has slipped in his appearances and C-Mint, the one we can usually count on to be our muscle, has not been able to regain that fearsome style that he used in the early days of the Tour. It's been a dark time for the Complex Crew, but we are looking to the return of Rising Sonny to help us rise again to the prominence that once was. (And those who are unhappy with their current crew or have yet to find a home on the Tour, the Complex has two apartments opening up and we will gladly accept any of you with open arms.)
The Maneater's win this week showcased just how dominate the TBC has been this summer. The Too Beaucoup Crew has been too much to handle and their abundance of wins has cluttered up the vault for much too long

Jeff, are you just being lazy...or do you have something against hot objects that end up falling. The news has been all over the waiver wires for more than a week, and it has yet to be reported on the site. Jamie "Drop it likes its Hot" Hogan is now a proud member of the Oak Street Honkeys...yeah...there's been a name change. OSH WILL dominate the fall season. We're gonna mess ya'll up like a guest host on HEEHAW.

Feeling abandonded and having played in the TBC cash games, we'd welcome Complex Slim and The First Lady to the winning team with open arms.
