Name: Justin Williams
Nickname (how'd you get it): Apparently
it's recently been coined "JustAll In." Not sure if that reflects my
playing style, but I'll take it.
Age: 25
Location: Scenic West LA
Favorite hand to play:
I have an odd affinity for Q-10, but that hand can get you in some tough spots.
Favorite pro player:
How cliche is it to say Gus Hansen?
How did you learn about the 4SPT:
Charles C-Mint was kind enough to extend an invite
When did you join the 4SPT:
The first big game in the Palisades
Best thing about winning the 4SPT:
The sheer happiness. I was downright happy.
Most
exciting/best hand you've had on the 4SPT:
Sucked out royally on two
occasions on my way to the win. Made a boat against Carlo when the
board paired kings and hit a second pair against Brent late in the
final table when he had my J-10 dominated. Exciting stuff. Having the
Doyle Brunson on the final hand was a nice touch too.
4SPT player you don't want sitting next to you
(why):
Who's ego to stroke? Maybe Von for the sole reason that I've
yet to sit at his table and I've got this suspicion that he's pretty
solid. Although I should say Dino because he has dealt me some tough
blows.
Where/how did you learn to play poker:
Learned Hold em on TV and later through the usual books.
Any
other interesting stories or whatever else you want people to know:
I
know it's par for the course, but I do want to thank Jeff and Jennifer
for running such a first rate game. From day one the level of play and
the friendliness of the people has truly impressed me. Lastly, I want
people to know that in anticipation of my second win, I've already
begun drafting "The Art of the Posture," with a possible special guest
commentary from Brandon.
