A rookie no more. After earning the Rookie of the Year title last weekend, the Machine went on to win the Tournament of Champions last night at the Castle. Congratulations to Marco on becoming our newest Champion of Champions (4th win overall, 1st Major Title) and for wrapping up one of the best years anyone has ever had on Tour.

SpS III Game 4 Results

Congratualtions to Marco for taking down his 3rd 4th St win last night. He didn't lose a pot the entire night, and I don't think I have ever seen someone get AK seven times and flop a K or A each and every time. Interesting fact - he eliminated 3 players holding AK vs. 77.

Using his now infamous gotta work at 5:30am strategy (and making one huge call with bottom pair), Marco "5:30" took down his 2nd 4SPT win in 4 weeks.

SuS III Game 6 Results

 

There was another shocker at Shocktown, actully it's not really shocking anymore, but another first time winner staked their claim for victory. In a season that was Taylor Made for first timers, Marco knocked two people out on the final hand to take home 4SPT win number one.
